As the surge in the minor league's popularity continues to produce larger crowds, higher ticket prices, high-tech stadiums, and higher-priced talent it becomes cause for concern that this success may encroach upon the very beauty of baseball at this level
Opening a swanky and svelte 6000-seat stadium in Rancho Cucamonga in April, 1993, the Quakes went on that year to break Class A attendance marks with well beyond 330,000 fans, thus encouraging franchises in the Cal with older ballparks to upgrade or rebuild facilities over the next decade and into the future
