The Visalia Oaks have placed dozens of its former players, such as pitcher Willie Banks (above right), in the major leagues. Yet, minor league fame came to Banks in Visalia when he, at age 20, pitched a no-hitter and later received a gold watch from Don Drysdale during the '89 League all-star game for being the youngest player to ever hurl a no-hit game.
