Climbing the ladder to "the show" (a.k.a.: Major Leagues) is what matters most to the minor league ball player, but in the meantime life is anything but glamorous. Players make a minimum of $1200 per month, and that includes carrying equipment bags to the bus for long, hot rides to small towns
